Renata Motta gave a course at the University of Gastronomic Sciences in Italy

From June 13 until June 17, Renata Motta visited the University of Gastronomic Science in Italy as a guest professor to teach the course “Food Justice, Activism and Social Movements” in the Master of Gastronomy: World Food Cultures and Mobility. The University was founded in 2004 by the international non-profit association Slow Food together with the Italian regions of Piedmont and Emilia-Romagna. The class tied in with the University’s proclaimed goal “to create an international research and education center for those working on renewing farming methods, protecting biodiversity, and building an organic relationship between gastronomy and agricultural science.”
