Marco Antonio Teixeira at COP28: Shaping Climate and Food Dialogues

Marco Antonio Teixeira will lead two impactful events at COP28 in Dubai. On December 9, he’ll explore sustainable food systems policy innovations at the Food4Climate Pavilion. Collaborating with Mercy For Animals, Humane Society International, and Food for Justice, HCIAS/Heidelberg University, the session aims to highlight groundbreaking policies. On December 11, Teixeira, alongside Isadora Cardoso (Freie Universität Berlin), will share intersectional climate justice stories at the Women and Gender Constituency Pavilion. His active engagement aligns with ongoing research within Food for Justice, focusing on the Amazon and the intricate connections between food movements, climate justice, and bioeconomy.
