Ad-hoc Group at the DGS Congress 2025: Food Movements in Societal Transition Processes – Pros and Cons of Food Justice?

Food for Justice is organizing an ad-hoc group at the DGS Congress at the University of Duisburg-Essen (September 22-26, 2025).

This group will present and discuss current research from various research teams on farmer protests and food movements in Germany. The discussion will explore the conflicts expressed in these protests, their connection to transition processes in agriculture, and the related agricultural and socio-political perspectives.
