Food for Justice organized the Climate Change and Social Sciences International Conference

Food for Justice organized the International Conference on Climate Change and Social Science from 2nd to 4th of February. The event took place at the Lateinamerika-Institut in Berlin. During these days, both leaders of Food for Justice moderated different panels related to the social and political dimension of climate change.

Renata Motta’s and Marco Antonio Teixeira’s presentation was on Climate change, agrarian struggles and popular feminisms: The contributions of Marcha das Margaridas to a socio-ecological transformation. On the last day of the conference they also held the Wrap-up panel to discuss the conference outcomes, the conference publications and also the potential collaborations and the necessary next steps.
