Birgit Peuker in the Workshop “AUF DEM WEG ZUR RESILIENZ?” at the University of Passau
Birgit Peuker, representing FFJ, will play a pivotal role at the upcoming workshop “AUF DEM WEG ZUR RESILIENZ? Interdisciplinary Social and Cultural Reflections on Agricultural Transformation” scheduled at the University of Passau from June 26 to 28, 2024. This event, coordinated by Prof. Dr. Anna Henkel, Prof. Dr. Matthias Kussin, Holli Gruber, and Laura Scheler, will bring together scholars and practitioners to delve into transformative approaches in agriculture.
Peuker’s presentation, titled “TRANSFORMATION UND LAND: Food for Justice: Spannungsfelder von Food Movements,” on June 27, 2024, will explore the intricate dynamics of food movements and their implications for agricultural resilience. Her research will highlight the intersections between social justice and sustainable food systems, addressing challenges and opportunities in contemporary agrarian practices.
The workshop, to be hosted in Room VR 202, HK 16, will foster lively discussions and innovative ideas for enhancing agricultural resilience amidst global challenges.
