Working Paper Series 7: Food and urban politics in Belo Horizonte: agroecology, activist coalitions and bottom-up technologies of sustainable urbanization

Nicolas Goez, our associated researcher, has released a new Working Paper Series, investigating the sociopolitical dimensions of urban food systems. Centered on a Belo Horizonte case study, the paper explores social innovations within agroecological and housing movements, notably in the Izidora settlement. As part of the ‘Food for Justice’ project, this study underscores the transformative impact of these innovations on urban development in the outskirts of Belo Horizonte.”
