Food for Justice Talks – Virtual Event Series

Food for Justice will hold several virtual online debates during the next couple of weeks in the so-called “Food for Justice Talks.” We invited several guests to present and discuss research on food, inequalities and food systems in Latin America and Europe. 

The event series takes place Wednesdays at 4 pm.

May 11: with Joaquín Rivera Zaldívar – Universidad de Los Lagos, Chile. Aumento dela inseguridad alimentaria por la pandemia de Covid19: análisis de desigualdades territoriales desde el enfoque interseccinal en chile. 

June 1: with Ivi Elias – Universidade Estadual do Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. O Regime alimentat corporativo neoliberal contemporâneo: a seguranca alimentar e o trabalho das mulheres rurais. 

June 22: with Suse Brettin – Humboldt Universität zu Berlin, Germany. Feminist perspectives on practices of care in agriculture.

July 6: with Leonie Guerrero – Utrecht University, Netherlands. Community supported agriculture and degrowth: a one-sided love affair? An empirical study on the potential for a movement coalition in Germany.
