Marco Antonio Teixeira Engages in tdAcademy Workshops on Transformational Leadership

In a collaborative effort, Marco Antonio Teixeira participated in tdAcademy workshops held at ISOE – Institute for Social-Ecological Research in Frankfurt Main from November 20 to 23, 2023.

The workshops, organized by tdAcademy, brought together two fellow groups to delve into critical themes surrounding transformation. Group 1 focused on the intriguing question, “What is a ‘good’ transformation, and who gets to define it?” while Group 2 honed in on “Improving critical social science skills in transdisciplinary transformative change initiatives (ICSSS in TTCIs).” Both groups comprised postdoctoral researchers from the 4th cohort of the Postdoc Academy for Transformational Leadership.

During their time in Frankfurt am Main, the groups engaged in lively discussions and exchanged ideas with researchers from ISOE, enriching their perspectives on transformation. The next phase for these groups involves crafting a perspective paper on transformation, a culmination of their collective insights and deliberations. This paper will be presented in an upcoming webinar, marking a significant step in contributing to the discourse on transformational leadership.
