Lea Zentgraf at the Conference on Social Inequality and Nutrition

Lea Zentgraf will join the “Social Inequality and Nutrition” conference on March 17-18, 2025, at the Fritz Thyssen Foundation in Cologne, Germany. The conference addresses the increasing importance of food inequality amid economic, political, and ecological crises.

Traditional scientific debates on nutrition often center around health and nutritional science perspectives, while social and cultural dimensions are frequently overlooked. This conference aims to fill that gap by examining the sociocultural mechanisms that shape nutritional inequalities. The interdisciplinary panel of speakers and the thematic breadth, along with an intersectional perspective, promise engaging discussions and valuable insights for both research and practice. Participants are invited to critically reflect and engage in dialogue on a topic that has societal relevance far beyond the individual dining table.
